Comfort Zone

So there you are, elusive moon,
Hiding behind some clouds at play
Just like I saw the other day
In your pre-twilit afternoon.

You were a sight for my sore eyes
As no doubt... you will be again,
Over the hazell dell and glen,
Or shining upon my lover's thighs!

But not tonight, it's far too cold,
And she will draw the curtains shut
So no moon beams will see her strut
Around within your lunar gold...

Which is what she might have done
Were you as hot as August sun!
