I have never been much of an artist....

 

.....But, if I were to paint a picture,
I would start with an blank canvas,
And a clean paintbrush,
Hopefully that would be enough,
To tell the story that keeps playing in my head,
The story we left behind on that bed…


I have never been much of an artist,
But, if I were to be called one it would probably be because I painted us,
Body to body,
I would make love to the paper,
Let my paint brush win,
Paint with the same passion I felt when we were skin to skin..
The strokes of my brush would become synonymous with yours,
And just like that day I would remember to lock all the doors..
The marks of my pencil, would be gentle,
Like your fingertips,
As they made their way along my body,
And as soft as your lips on my lips..


I have never been much of an artist
But, I would want people to see through my eyes,
The beautiful view,
The images of you,
Running through my mind…
I mean,
Your fingers intertwined with mine,
You between my thighs,
And under me as I slowly begin to ride
You taking over me,
All I’m seeing is blurred lines,
You owning me and showing me,
That I am on cloud nine..


I have never been much of an artist,
But, I would paint you under the golden hour light,
You know, like the one that fell on the small of my back as you took me from behind,
I would paint using watercolors made from our sweat,
I would use warm tones,
To depict the warmth of your breath,
As you let out your soft moans…
A sound I will never forget,
I would use fifty shades of red,
To mimic the marks that you ever so carefully spread,
All over my chest and my neck…
And gosh…..


I have never been much of an artist,
But if I were to paint all this,
Picasso and Van Gogh would ask me for tips
Because I would have,
Laid down your creamy expanse
Unto the canvas surface,
As if milk made love with,
The stars in the galaxies,
And still, I wouldn’t have fully captured the magnitude,
Of the feeling I had when your were inside of me…
