THE PATH

Shall I just
make the story
all up as I go,
piecing together
the bits that
I know
with the things
I learn,
or
should I
concern myself
with what is
proven and true?
Taking poems and
myths to weave
something new
together in a
way that brings
insight, into my
journey and possibly
the plight of
others who follow
the path I take,
who instead of
being asleep
choose to wake
up and ask the
questions we all
do, about where
we come from and
what our ancestors
went through.
