Agony
Dominance; impetuous pleasure is sin
I am a victim under my skin
My soul has fallen
My spirit is gaunt
I will pay for the sorrow
But it’s freedom I want
To the mind, I belong
My body is tense
My message is failure
The emptiness, immense
Wading in misery
I am drowning with air
I idolize suppression
I intend not to share
No one will know the story that’s mine
I push it down deep: i walk the fine line
The pressure, tremendous
Anxiety delivers
Depression is as tedious as picking the slivers
Each lingering thought
That envelops my mind
Is another rope pulled
To tighten the bind
I am a victim under my skin
My soul has fallen
My spirit is gaunt
I will pay for the sorrow
But it’s freedom I want
To the mind, I belong
My body is tense
My message is failure
The emptiness, immense
Wading in misery
I am drowning with air
I idolize suppression
I intend not to share
No one will know the story that’s mine
I push it down deep: i walk the fine line
The pressure, tremendous
Anxiety delivers
Depression is as tedious as picking the slivers
Each lingering thought
That envelops my mind
Is another rope pulled
To tighten the bind
