it matters....

          
           
           
    having a significant other-and intimacy.... though societal politics more or less intervenes- or the alignment unfortunately isn't where it should ideally be....          
           
  but one knows it matters....          
           
 despite being a creature of habit-despite the fact that one feels for one reason or another that there's unlikelihood in the chances-that-that void could be filled;          
           
it's only natural....          
it matters....          
           
 though the truth is.... there's no guaranteed "happily ever after" especially depending on what one's after; the variety of deciding factors that always come into play....          
           
           
 despite one's natural instincts and genetic make up; perhaps some of us are just destined to be alone-sometimes with spurts of loneliness- and to be content with such ....          
           
because.... the stakes at the table.... everyone's aim ain't the same in this "life game"....some(including myself) are locked in "survival mode" so-to-speak....       
           
besides everything isn't what it seems; everything isn't what it's cracked up to be....        
       
but ideally; it matters....        
     
but regardless-one must go strong until one's road ends ....
