Beautiful Tragedy
If you saw me today
What would you say?
Would you look at me with sadness?
Or would you think I had given in to this madness?
Maybe you would look at me with disgust
Don't blame me- I was created from your distrust
Yeah it's true, you made me
But, at a cost-did you think it was free?
With my heart full of hate
Was just the right weight
For the building of thee
But, truly this is not it?
No there is more
A little bit more...
A couple of stitches
I remember though-the laugh of some witches
Or was that you and your friends
That soon began to bend
Now you are alone...
But, as your creation
I still love you...
What would you say?
Would you look at me with sadness?
Or would you think I had given in to this madness?
Maybe you would look at me with disgust
Don't blame me- I was created from your distrust
Yeah it's true, you made me
But, at a cost-did you think it was free?
With my heart full of hate
Was just the right weight
For the building of thee
But, truly this is not it?
No there is more
A little bit more...
A couple of stitches
I remember though-the laugh of some witches
Or was that you and your friends
That soon began to bend
Now you are alone...
But, as your creation
I still love you...
