Inspire, expire
Heartbeats, instrumental
The bases of my lungs comprise the floor of this ocean
Air bubbling up to the surface
Whispers of breath
Rising then crashing, fervent
Ribs swell, increasing pressure
Healthy boundaries
Push me with encouragement
Nothing lesser
