Pink
reminiscent memories. headphones in, Charing Cross Station, was about to jump a train (no money, was 16 years old) had spent it on this album. was already amazed by watching man land on the moon, 2001 space odyssey, and early Bowie, and discovered this magic, which along with everything else, sent my mind spiralling into another portal of thoughts, and i remember the impact of the unions of the early 70's, and the ensuing recession, and shopping, and drinking by candlelight (literally candles on shopping trollies) and fears of nucleur war, and living in squats, and seeing junkies, and alcoholics, living lives game, and remembering the shame of politicians, playing the game, with the same old bullshit they deliver us now, histories repeated, no lessons ever learnt, no fair monies ever earnt, and here we all are 50 years on, same game, no-one has won, nor ever will, life can be such a bitter pill. anyway.......back to Pink Floyd xxxx
