Light my path

I want to hold the light inside you
I want to see behind your eyes
What’s it like to see what you see?
Lend me your flame and
Press your wick against mine
Maybe our united flicker
Can make your searing smile even brighter
Then turn that gaze toward me
Send your heat all over my chest
Brighten this newfound world around me
