gehenna burning
this halo glimmers asphyxiate charms
[/font]to a slave of slipknot eros noosed
I wear his shackled freedom
and burn like ripe vagaries
plucked on gehenna afternoons
he plies my confession
parted lipped and loosed
spilling open ended conjuration
he casts sorceries for words
etched vertical across my back
staining merlot chaste
so I will hold my demons closer
and the slithered serpents tease my seams
pose to finger permissions
as I scatter on exodus wings
every good intention
firedancing
I writhe
behind a web of sighs
and god
my god
I sin behind these eyes

I come here every now and again to remember you were here. I miss the experience of your talent. Sometimes after long stretches have passed I forget what it was like to read your words, to feel your woven spells, to be that close to the fabric that you spin... like clothing, loose and luxurious. Without you, underneath this fine attire, I hide a hole.
