Spare Some Sand (The Similarities With Shadows)

I'll take the time
Just as you take mine
To be the fire fly
Drenched in a discussion of darkness
The beacon
Is speaking
And I have one rule
Listen
I'll take the time
All the time I can spare
To burn when all seems cold
But when I have no sand to spare
You deny
You dont listen
Screaming my similarities with the shadows
I turn to my own needs
And you threaten
Starving for a black you could only envy
You threaten me
Saying the small slight steps you will take
To the void
If I dont spare you some sand
I walk towards a glow
Your fate
I do not know
I see safety
I see my own needs satisfied
I see the similarities with the shadows.
