Hiatus
See ya
I'm skipping the aisle.
I'm headed out for a taste
a taste
of the memory
you put on hiatus.
The empty abandoned castle
you planned on
Pushing on your
bastard children
Before you realized
the house was
Lived in
By ghosts.
In paintings.
The eyes see my failures in
broad daylight
And try as I might
They'll never forgive me for them.
I'm cleaning up what's left of my attic.
Got dustbunnies
the size of rabid things that bite
and try as I might
The end of the trail covers up
the path I took when I was just a boy
on the cusp of
living miserably.
I'm skipping the aisle.
I'm headed out for a taste
a taste
of the memory
you put on hiatus.
The empty abandoned castle
you planned on
Pushing on your
bastard children
Before you realized
the house was
Lived in
By ghosts.
In paintings.
The eyes see my failures in
broad daylight
And try as I might
They'll never forgive me for them.
I'm cleaning up what's left of my attic.
Got dustbunnies
the size of rabid things that bite
and try as I might
The end of the trail covers up
the path I took when I was just a boy
on the cusp of
living miserably.
