Ode to a Lost Soul
I just dont know what to do anymore.
I now know what an animal trapped in a box feels like,
I only wished the box would cave before I did,
but then again if its not raining I know I wont get far.
to think a silly cardboard box could withstand more than I,
Sometimes I wished it would rain so I knew I wasn't weak.
So I knew I was strong and could make it.
After seeing a cardboard box in the rain crumpled and collapsed, I know I can make it.
Cause after a strong storm, I am still standing.
In what little part of me still standing I see strength I didnt know I had.
The animal is out of the cage and is fuller and fuller of rage.
You may tame it, but never subdue it.
Keep your strength deep within, but not deep enough to lose it;
do not lose it like I did.
It can not be GPS'ed you have to find it, within the depths of your soul.
