Superficial?

Is a man superficial just because he likes to skim things over?
Such as when he likes to have a taste of the icing on the cake
Not desiring to know, not bothering to ask
If the cake is of vanilla or chocolate made?
Or if there is a layer of strawberry jam
Or raspberry jam between the layers
Or if the cake was baked at precicely the exact temperature
And for the exact number of minutes for optimal results
Was it also let on the counter for a good while so it could set nicely
Before the icing was set?
Was the icing prepared by hand...or was a mixer used,
For the results can be either creamy smooth or slightly coarser
Depending also on the amount of water - milk - butter added to the mix
