I was gonna write you a poem
I was gonna write you a poem today
but then I realized I don’t give a shit
guess that means we are a lot alike
but in some ways not
for I can’t wrap my head around
throwing away a good thing
especially after you begged me for forgiveness
should of trusted my instincts
ok, maybe I give some shits
because what I really want to say is
I’m not mad
and I miss you very much
time’s too short for me to hold grudges
that doesn’t change me thinking
you’re acting foolish
I have to say it like it is
and I never lied
you don’t have it in you for confrontation
well I don’t have it in me to stay silent
never meant for you to feel betrayed
just wanted you to stop your shit
and I guess that’s the line
one you wouldn’t dare cross

Complex but sometimes needlessly.
Honestly I could be better. Though that's due to medical problems. Emotional problems is a common enough thing that I'm numb to that haha.

As someone who has recently (very unintentinally) made things needlessly complex, this was like a smack I needed to receive. I'm going to have to keep it for the next time I'm acting foolish.

We all act a fool hehe. Both sides can sometimes have a hard time with each other. One thinks something that might not be the case and so is the other way around.
