Yellow Jackets

Yellow jackets fasting
on the breath of your everlasting
lashes, flashing, golden shocks
glimmering thoughts
lurching and thundering applause
you're unlatching the tumblers
of my wet locks
dripping in dark curls
as I climb
from this heavy sea
pale, naked, strongly sublime
 
you're a wistful misses sifting
my silly secrets  
through the thin invisible skin
of your venomous eyes
thorny keepsakes that sting
and poison the skies
 
a tingling thirsty surprise
trifling choking motes
of stifling joking notes
poking and prodding your thoughts
like the twisted horns of goats
soaking in the blood
of my wordy ghosts
 
pallid whispers escape
the nape of your neck
in stiffly erect whiskers
as my look grips and frisks yours
like a swiftly spinning cactus
 
a kiss on your lonely hand
drags across like gritty sand
trails of red microscopic  
razors lagging and drifting
on thin sails of bloody cursive
