DARK INKANTATIONS [HEMISPHERE FORTY]
HEMISPHERE FORTY: DARK INKANTATIONS
“Life is a masterpiece that you create.” - Anonymous?
(A SHADOW AND THE MYSTERY OF SMOKE)
I take another drag, releasing a plume of grey, whispering in vapors, which rise in spiraling ringlets, offering exchange.
Robert takes a drag.
The smoke caresses the strata of his lungs, unfurling in midnight flowers, dropping petals like the falling leaves of autumn, slowly, methodically, each a parchment of a grimoire of secrets:
Immortality and infinity.
He releases a plume that crystalizes across the elements of air, like the evolving interaction of the components of a vision.
The beginning of seeing.
“A fine blend, wouldn’t you say?”
We stand, observing the masterpiece of smoke, darkness and stars, maneuvering serpentine… Manifestations of magic:
Dark Inkantations.
[this is a strange energy… Writing as a first person narrative with omniscience? Is that a thing? For me, it feels Alchemical.]
