Image for the poem the beauty of us

the beauty of us

caress the sadness inside for it weeps for you
forlorn lover over sorrow
I love you true no matter the cost
the day shone honesty of soul for you
keeping your dreams private
secrets sewn into my soul so I would know you

I came into your quiet pure of heart
whispering my need to you
you captured my tears and silently uttered you're my woman
I didn't hear you with my ears but within my sanctity
with such an overwhelming tenderness

you gaze at me and my blush said it all
I felt you deep in my hollow places
where no man has ever touched
you stir my passions and I knew desire
you quench my need and I knew love

in your presence I was wanted
in your chambers I am cherished
