Swimming In Your Eyes

I was hypnotized,
Our heart’s synthesized.
Beating in unison,
We were synchronized.

I went swimming in your eyes.
They were deep as the ocean,
So,
I took a dive.
Your heart was anchored,
Though,
I sympathize.
Submerged in your waters,
I was almost baptized.

But-
The tides are now high;
And the daylight draws nigh.
There’s a vastness in me,
I have come to realize.

The waves that I feel,
Catch my soul by surprise.
I’m like sailing the seas,
But my mind’s in the sky.
