Don't Turn Off the Lights
Above my head floats a woman,
Her hair is long and flows-
As a tangled mop of curls.
She twirls above me,
Playing with those fingers-
Oh those long twisted twigs!
Grinning as the Cheshire-
Only I'm no Alice.
A sick old smile,
Splitting her face in half-
And those eyes-
Oh the eyes!
Red holes that wont stop staring.
Wont stop mocking,
Taunting.
Above my head she flows.
In the corner she stays.
In the dark-
She comes to play.
Twisted twigs, cloaked in black,
Long hair that flows,
A splitting smile,
Red staring eyes.
In the dark plays my demon,
Insane I must be,
For only I can see-
This creature above my head.
Sneaking in my corners,
Peaking through the doors-
Good Night.
Just don't turn off my lights.
Her hair is long and flows-
As a tangled mop of curls.
She twirls above me,
Playing with those fingers-
Oh those long twisted twigs!
Grinning as the Cheshire-
Only I'm no Alice.
A sick old smile,
Splitting her face in half-
And those eyes-
Oh the eyes!
Red holes that wont stop staring.
Wont stop mocking,
Taunting.
Above my head she flows.
In the corner she stays.
In the dark-
She comes to play.
Twisted twigs, cloaked in black,
Long hair that flows,
A splitting smile,
Red staring eyes.
In the dark plays my demon,
Insane I must be,
For only I can see-
This creature above my head.
Sneaking in my corners,
Peaking through the doors-
Good Night.
Just don't turn off my lights.
