You Were The Last
You were the last man to kiss my mouth
Or touch my face
You cradled my head as I touched you
I lay here remembering how we were
I miss your voice, soft as lace
Your hands were strong as we played
You had arms of steel
Now they will explore another
My heart will have to deal
I will never be second best to anyone
I was made to love and be loved
Your choices haunt me as I go on.
Or touch my face
You cradled my head as I touched you
I lay here remembering how we were
I miss your voice, soft as lace
Your hands were strong as we played
You had arms of steel
Now they will explore another
My heart will have to deal
I will never be second best to anyone
I was made to love and be loved
Your choices haunt me as I go on.
