succor, a request
I scatter my thoughts upon the winds
it is with great care I utter my needs
cradling faith I come before you
kneeling in the storm
giving succor to those I love
I hurt with fear
but still, I enter the onyx corridor bravely
and whisper a request
touch not my own with the bitterroot
spare them from the pain
if perchance you require Destiny
I am your lady
turn back the wrath that has beset us
and send in healing angels
like your pupil Job
I never knew I was an instrument of pain
I had no understanding
tiny feelings are emerging
it's a protective stance I take
strike me first, if you must
undo this spellbinding
and at long last be appeased, my lord
