What is life without a word
of assurance from Your side
that controls the hopeless end?
What is life if none exists
after the advent of death?
How can man enjoy a trip
that's concluded with a crash?
You revealed how glad You were
when You rose up and appeared
to those needing such a proof,
which transformed their fear to faith.
Rising deleted their fright
and encouraged them to preach.
What can make a frightened man
rush to death neglecting fear?
