oh i'm not being kind. trust me. kind i reserve for those i want nothing to do with. this poem is a great one. i love how u dared to  be simple, it's perfect for the concepts/meaning of the poem, you're talking about extremely complex experiences that take a lot of life and wisdom to know or understand, but u express them with a light touch, simplicity and actually- with a kindness! it reads as though it were effortless, revealing so much so gracefully... perfectly done and very moving.  

Were you deliberately not using apostrophes (aside from with "hero's," which in that context should be "heroes") as part of the style? The last verse is magnificent. Simple and haunting. It has the quality of a ghost story, reminding me slightly of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT1qJ5rw2iE

the lack of apostrophes started as mere laziness and then as time went on seemed like an honesty of sentiment(ill go into it further as i understand it more, for now it just "feels"right-and admittedly i would crucify another writer for saying the same)... but thanks for the share of a haunting share it resonates well.
