The Fates Await!

In seven hours
And forty minutes
I shall venture
To the square of warriors
And worriers
Where i shall
Have wires attached
No desires
Of the heart
To see
If it's more broken
Than it already is
There will be no tears
But some fears
As i'm wired for unsound
For seven days
Or so they say
Hope it's not bleak
For this coming week
My fingers
Shall remain crossed
Nothing to distract me from this tale
From what ails me well
Should at least
Be pain free
So i shall simply
Wait, and see
