Linda Camille
She said after a while silence is betrayal.
But I'm over you now.
There is no need for words,
You know what you did.
Besides, I didn't leave to teach you a lesson.
Rather, I left because I finally learned mine.
You think you've changed,
But a snake only sheds its skin
So it can become a bigger snake.
You like to put off this vibe of peace and love,
A gypsy queen and a hippie refugee from the sixties,
But woman you've got a lot of venom
And a hair trigger to go with it.
You've shown me who you really are
And i should have believed you the first time.
Shame on me
Maybe I'm a slow learner,
But I finally got there.
If it makes you feel any better
You'll always be my favorite mistake.
But I'm over you now.
