Like it or not, he is the official Head of State i of many commonwealth countries including Canada, my country.   PS: to get rid of the monarchy and the entire system (and to replace it with a president à la Trump?) would require the agreement of ALL the provinces, plus the agreement of the Canadian Parliament AND the agreement of the Canadian Senate. That is definitely g not going to happen any time soon.

I don't think he'll be on the throne too long.
