I pen as the ink never lies
and lullabies never sleep
where flesh used to breathe
and now death
is waiting for Charon
oaring the dammed
life is but blood on my blade
and dark is my embryo
in my tonsured head
behind these walls of insomnia
lip syncing old times
when I was just an old coot
