Wherever you go, there’s one thing that’s like granite,  
A thing that’s unchanging all over the planet,  
A rock at the bottom of all things that exist,  
An ultra-cool rule guaranteed to assist.    
 
It’s been there all the time, sitting under our noses,  
For everyone, everywhere, to easily see.
And there’s no doubt about a command that composes,  
The base of a faith with which all might agree.  
 
There is no better standard than love others as you,  
No grander commandment than do as you’d be done to.  
And if you’re going through stuff that you’re finding too tough,  
It will not leave you stranded, it’ll help you pull through,  
Just by trying some kindness, something good will accrue.
