A Marriage Proposal

I am not one to kiss and tell,
But well, my love, just let me say,
I think you’re swell in every way.
No sooner had our texts began,
I knew I’d like to be your man.
You are the miss I want to kiss,
The times I spend with you are bliss.
Who knew that love could be like this?
I dream of you by night and day,
Your beauty blows me right away.
I want no love in lieu of you,
I’ll never say adieu to you,
Just one will do if it is you,
I will eschew them all but you,
I will not woo a love but you,
I will be true to only you,
And stick to you like superglue.
I love you more than birds can sing,
More than autumn, or the spring,
More than every summertime,
And more than any sun can shine.
And so I say, on bended knee,
My darling, will you marry me?
May I place this ring upon your finger?
Though there’s no ring which I could bring,
To represent the full extent,
Of the feelings which I have for you.
No mine of gold could ever hold,
The riches which your heart contains,
Not stone on earth is close to worth,
The beauty which your soul proclaims.
Let’s have friendship, love and liberty,
And tremendous positivity -
My darling will you marry me?
