Fall

Enflamed in orange
dark and bold
engulfed and smothered
the cries of crows
draws close a change
carried by the petrichor
senses ignite
a beautiful vein of light
speaks without judgment
the voice of the earth
the sigh of a heart
untouchable rain falls
will the leaves follow,
or just me?
