In spite of two bumps, many DUP’ers didn’t read or listen the beautiful lyrics that inspired this song. It is a huge success abroad, would you believe? Yes, of course you would. In approx. 14 days after posting, over a 1.000 listens. Edit: as 2023 is approaching, I checked the state of affaires where the reads and listens are concerned.
It has stopped at 8.450 as per 1st of Nov 2023!!!

The biggest succes so far is on a small Dutch Guitarist’s forum.
The introduction I made on an international forum, so you’ll be able to understand what I said was:

An American friend wrote very nice lyrics for songs that didn’t happen.
And I think it’s a good idea to change all that. Plus a regular, heartfelt love song would be very nice for a change’.

The music/entire song creation turned out incredibly awesome, Gus!! I listened a few times and like I've said before, this type of alternative shoegazey rock is my own personal sweet spot. Your song feels like it's in the same wheelhouse as My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Jane or Mazzy Star, etc .. all of which are bands I loved back in my heyday and now! They're staples on my Spotify Playlists ...those and many more!
Again, this was an excellent partnering!
I hope to hear more....

I like it a lot that you took the time to read and listen.
The reason for the repost is mainly to bring the coop (and Faith’s very nice lyrics) to the attention of people and places where it would go unnoticed otherwise.
It is a strange combi, my music. Singing and specially the use of background singing, is sunshine pop inspired and the music, including the mix, an non distortion version of shoe gaze.
It looks like we’re the people with the good taste. Don’t know which emoj I should use here.

Like in the lyrics, in the backing are a lot of things happening. Simple things. But they add up. Plus loud guitars, played soft.

Three weeks after posting the total of listens/times read is 1500 approx. Which, after a slow start, is about a 100 per day.
So it goes to show that each of you DUP’ers giving Faith compliments for her heartfelt lyrics are right.
If you lady B. have playful ideas to whip DUP into more or less the same kind of activity, I hope you’ll share them.

O yes, maybe I am a hopeless romantic, but this was what drew me to these lyrics. I always knew that the love of my life would be there and that we would meet. All I had to do is wait sort of decent for that moment.
