Message in a Bottle
Go to the shore, go, my life
uselessly sail seven seas
and anchor yourself on a futile beach
deserted... where no one reads you
You will donate my life to the rock
let yourself fall asleep in that sand
where boats and whales run aground
where the jellyfish ignite
Go, my life by the waves, go
straddle the unexpected
change into shards of recyclable glass
Go, forgetting yourself, life
go, mismatched fate
go and beg anyone to read you

I like this. There's a very strong sense in which we are all so temporal, and one day we will become dust/ ash/ bone etc. Your poem reminds me to make my life count. There is meaning in it all.
