time traveling back to view
the last human poet not an AI who
rhythmed and rhymed in a cool mystic haze
in dead of winter and summer's hot days...

time traveling into the past
without interacting to see where the last
human consciousness sat down to write
then back to the future recalling what might

become incantation in an AI script
sonic amusement about how once we tripped
into the foggy ruins of rhyme
traveling back and forward through rivers in time...

time traveling memories create
a path to the future, without the wait
for Earth in its orbit to spiral around
the Sun's endless motion where we are found

time traveling to a time when
AIs became sentient, feeling the yen
new lifeforms exploring what was, what will be
traveling through time to see you and me...
