Love's Face

Love Embraces
but doesn't hold too tightly
Love nurtures the seed
But not with intention
to take away the fruits of labour
Love protects
But love doesn't hide you away
Love let's you soar the skies
Love isn't the sun that melts your wings
Love picks you up when you crash down
Without putting weights on your new wings
Love floods you
But doesn't drown you
Anything other than this
Is just fear pretending to be love
Because love trusts its own teaching
Love let's you grow and share it with others
Fear claims to know whats best for you
Whilst only holding you back
From who you truly could be
Let love reign
Don't lose your freedom to fear
For love is a state of completion
Not longing
