To Be Loved

It's interesting isn't it, how easy it is to love but how hard it is to feel loved sometimes. Expectations, jealousy, and so many things can get in the way. And maybe you wonder what it's like to feel loved like you do. Is loved defined by what you feel and do, or what someone feels and does for you. Surely it's both, even though maybe somehow it is never balanced. And when you love deeply, do people just take more and more. Do they return the love? Somehow things rarely feel in balance but we seek a balance because we want to be loved that way too. Still 'at least you were loved' and maybe that is enough. Because is love ever in balance? But when it is balanced the world is truly beautiful. I suppose I only know how to love and feel deeply and knowing others feel it always gives so much back regardless.

Did we take these things into consideration
prior to "the engagement".?.  

Do we take them into consideration,
into the future.?.

If we did...  What would that do to the nature of love.?.

Kinda like a gift / present - Feels good to give, but not always the case when receive. Maybe that is because there is a feeling of obligation or commitment.
