Charcoal Became My Shadow
My words have seen tragedy
adjusting to the dark soul
with humanity at its worse
of monsters and photographs
and then weevils invaded my mind
forty ways to make a golem
grasping my tongue
of opium's bell rung
as charcoal became my shadow
of bones buried in the fallow
carrion in the fields sung
the wonderful world of beetles
adjusting to the dark soul
with humanity at its worse
of monsters and photographs
and then weevils invaded my mind
forty ways to make a golem
grasping my tongue
of opium's bell rung
as charcoal became my shadow
of bones buried in the fallow
carrion in the fields sung
the wonderful world of beetles
