Espieglerie!

A spell is cast by the dress she drapes
Which apprehend each galvanizing breast
And, espousing how they may be oppressed
By my lingering glances at their shapes
The spell has surely taken it's effect
Much as it had in honeymoon hours
Where long ago it displayed it's powers
At keeping Cupid's infrastructure erect.
But forgive me if I don't remember
Each and every romantic excess
Between now and that magic September
When first we felt matrimonious caress,
Certain to rekindle love's old ember
When the spell liberates her from that dress!
