Sky Frolic

I think no angel loves the light of day
When their wings might be lit by lunar beams
Like those seen in stratocumulus dreams
Where mortals see immortal angels play
To tease frolic out of endless flight
Like the moon and her orbital motions
As powerful as the tidal oceans
Awash in the moon's invisible might!
Would not you as well have your summer fun
Under a temperate nocturnal light
More forgiving than the ill humored sun,
Mired in it's atomic dynamite,
Shooting rays like a pissed off laser gun,
Undone, by the clouds of a golden night?
