empire collapse,
eye contact tear us apart across the street
people dancing and screaming
no amount of letters written in the past upon times of
desperation
can make up for this moment of ravage
biting my soul on fire through the streams of blissful unconscious days behind me and
everyone
alive in this chaos
I never left
never will, deep in dreams I dance upon your pumping blood
the sense of something unsaid
and swimming down the road,
tossing over and over frantic on the foam,
I am free by my limbs possessed in the current
and my vision is roped over
like a tight rope walker between sky scarpers
no lady and the tramp on strings of skin
the final landing never reaches
so well break forever hear
and now
where I write for the trauma of moments uploading upon the canvas of honesty
pending
brewing
scarping underneath
scratching the trapdoor from below
so I will go and eat some yoghurt know and be comforted in pattern and screen
until we all start to scream from the centre of our foreheads
in pure white light
let all be seen
no sense in the moments in-between.
