When you came
When you came, I felt you.
Like a hit in my solar plexus
You left me breathless,
And my rebellious words
Refused to be heard.
When you came, I saw you
Like a solar eclipse
The light was gone.
Wrapped in your darkness
I was trapped in the cold.
When you came, I heard you
Like a symphony of a thousand violins
Crashing their terrifying sound on me
I grabbed my temples in palms,
Invoking the God of eternal silence to come.
Now… I don’t want you to leave
Cradle me in your strange hug
Whisper in my ear the words that are only yours
And allow me to drink from you
to turn your torment in eternal ecstasy
Like a hit in my solar plexus
You left me breathless,
And my rebellious words
Refused to be heard.
When you came, I saw you
Like a solar eclipse
The light was gone.
Wrapped in your darkness
I was trapped in the cold.
When you came, I heard you
Like a symphony of a thousand violins
Crashing their terrifying sound on me
I grabbed my temples in palms,
Invoking the God of eternal silence to come.
Now… I don’t want you to leave
Cradle me in your strange hug
Whisper in my ear the words that are only yours
And allow me to drink from you
to turn your torment in eternal ecstasy
