Salem
I sought you in the noise
I found you charging the silence
it enveloped you then, with its madness
it was maddening the quiet
it deafened you to me
the fascination of her took hold and you look away
I was naked in my shame and you couldn't bare the vulgarity of it
I was lewd in my presentation
innocent in my hurt
I weep bitter tears of regret
you were finally close enough in the pain
my blood pushed the insanity of want through my veins
and for the first time in eons you taste me again
I was purity of emotion, vain in my attempts
you sample me at your leisure when I look away
I didn't feel you there in my soul
I felt you in my womanhood
then later you move my heart
seeking salvation in another's cunt
brutal and savage
you severed the night and broke the silence
your vow was understood
you would know me again
inside the secret solemn we are one
