You're Simply Too Far Away.
That thirteen minute phone call meant everything to me.
I don't mind that you had to whisper,
I would've paid to hear you breathe.
You told me you've been okay and asked me how I've been,
All that came out was, "I just miss you..."
and, "I need to see you again."
When really, honey, you're the one who needs reassured.
A gem like you, your bleeding wrists,
fragile, and never cured.
The world is your stage and you play her so well,
if you only knew when you left,
of all the things that fell.
My health, and my mind dropped to a weak state.
Hearing you push "End" was almost like the
first time you were ripped away.
