Now Tell Me

A sense of horror,
A feeling of dread.
It fills your body,
Muscles freezing with fear.
Blood rushes from your limbs,
Adrenaline kicks in.
But your body doesn't move,
Nowhere, no way to run.
The terror filling sight,
That lays in front.
Something frightful,
Something terrible.
So creepy,
So horrifying.
Sadness, pain,
Panic, fear.
Emotions so intense,
No escape from it.

Now tell me,
What is it that you see?

Author's Note
I wrote this poem not very long ago, maybe a few weeks. Me and my friends were talking about dark romance and horror poems and Edgar Allen Po, which inspired this. I really like how this turned out. Let me know what you think in the comments, all feedback is appreciated! Enjoy! ^-^
