We Make the Summer.
If I could be your thunderstorm,
Rock you soft to sleep…
Then would you be my sunset?
Take my soul to keep.
If I would be your lightning,
Illuminate your haunting darkness…
Then could you be my westward wind?
Blow away my hardships.
If I could be your hurricane,
Shake you with my passion…
Then would you be my starry night?
My secretive assassin.
Since I’m your weary rainmaker,
Kissing you with gentle tears…
And you’re my effervescent summer,
Would we make it through the years?
Rock you soft to sleep…
Then would you be my sunset?
Take my soul to keep.
If I would be your lightning,
Illuminate your haunting darkness…
Then could you be my westward wind?
Blow away my hardships.
If I could be your hurricane,
Shake you with my passion…
Then would you be my starry night?
My secretive assassin.
Since I’m your weary rainmaker,
Kissing you with gentle tears…
And you’re my effervescent summer,
Would we make it through the years?
