VISIONS OF THE OTHERSIDE
Well manicured lawns in the summertime
Greener pastures that are devoid of crime
Where mimes give voice to their emotions
Enjoying solitude away from all commotion
Smooth motions in blue seas of exotic beauty
Where all things are living in blissful harmony
Matrimony with the exquisite goddess Nature
Holding each other up to the highest stature
A place for psychological fractures to mend
Beautiful days in neighborhoods with friends
A final end to humanity's mounting warfare
Where sensible people show that they care
Away from death stares outta sniper rifles
Bringing racist, mass shootings to a stifle
Where leaders don't raffle off our lives
Hands becoming fists rather than single fives
Thriving in unity as communities of human beings
Instead of dividing ourselves up by frivolous things
Allowing birds to freely sing; escaping the cage
No more stories of rage displayed on the front page
