Loathing & Fear

As my Whitman beard
Unconsciously

Grows

I see

Trees leaves
& grass

In vast voids
Harkening to a past

No longer
Possible
To
Duplicate

Like the fate
Of
Holographic simulations
Remitted

Now transmitted

Only
In
Symbols

&

Signs
Of the real
For the
Real

Wondering
Where
Whitman
Would

Go

Were he here
In this

Loathing
&
Fear
