Endlessly
I never had a soul
Think it died some time ago
And the absence of light proves it so
The tyrants dispel
But you offer no absolution
There’s a scepter among your gown
Such fickle affection
But a touch is all it ever was
For vicious bloodlines in your circle
The marauders that arise
Your beauty grazed
Rip torn by the powers that be
Borders crossed and treaties slashed
War ahead, transcending
I never had a soul
Think it died some time ago
And the absence of light proves it so
The tyrants dissent
But you offer no absolution
There’s a scepter among your decree
Assassinations continue
Where neck and head don’t meet
Our enemies target innocents
To sway public opinion
The realm buckles
Turncoats mimic like mimes
Your council is rolling ocean currents
Escalating tension abhor
I never had a soul
Think it died some time ago
And the absence of light proves it so
The tyrants quell
But you offer no absolution
There’s a scepter among your crown
Worry not sweet sister
For men know no better equal
Right or wrong, your forces will follow
To lasting ruin if need be
Think it died some time ago
And the absence of light proves it so
The tyrants dispel
But you offer no absolution
There’s a scepter among your gown
Such fickle affection
But a touch is all it ever was
For vicious bloodlines in your circle
The marauders that arise

I never had a soul

And the absence of light proves it so
