[I am getting back into my work outs...
I actually took out these new running
shoes for a spin, this evening…] - Cipher_O
From the ground floor
We build stronger
Reaching out
Ever
Further
Footprints in ashes
&
Verdure
Walking on water
Taking splashes
Making
Ink
To sink into
Thought
All that was sought
I sent
To
Wings
Into clouded
Shrouded
Things
But it all came back
To me
And here I am
Here I
Stand
In
Eternal demands

After steadily getting it in for...
Years...
I have not gone running in... 14 months
To me it feels good to know I can
just... Lift off into the stratosphere and go
Like...
I can run further than you can drive. :p
No...
It did feel good to just run through
the cool scenery round these parts...
I could easily run for an hour or two
at a really good pace...
I ran CC and on and off
throughout my life... With breaks in between
I recently renewed my subscription
to Runners World & got these spiffy new running shoes...
I have impeccable discipline when
I set about doing something...
I wanted to infuse these things
into the energetic construct of my poetical lair...
In furtherance of The Great Work
I have a Vision of My Self...
& So Shall It Be!
Mother fucker...

I think I am going to do my
activities nocturnally...
In the past I always
liked to run in the night...
Haven't done that in a while quite honestly...
I was on tether for 90 days...
Which is an interesting way to run...
It is literally the feeling of being
a runaway slave...
In different ways...
My leg was all bloody and such...
And people see you running
with an ankle monitor...
Then Corona hit...
People are fuckin crazy...
So I just ventured indoors...
Treadmill broke...
Got new treadmill...
Took a while to deliver...
Took a break I guess...
Nevertheless...
Excited about some night running!
:)))
That is why I posted!

You know I am a fan of shoes!!!
I just bought some that have mixed zebra and tiger print
running shoes. Ha!! Oh yeah
This write also reminds me of my oldest son. He did CC in high school.
When he first started they made the class run until they tossed cookies -
I think it was a rite of passage - he was smiling when he told me about it:)
Still runs here and there. He has said it makes him feel alive and after
a certain point it makes you feel high - The Runners High - He says it
is a very real thing.
Also helps him drown out the world so the speak.

Tis definitely a rite of passage
& very much tribal...
& something that carries
into the future...
I remember the preseason
training...
We would go to the sand dunes...
We had these circuits
which were sprints and running mixed...
The circuit ended with a run
up this steep mountainous incline called:
Lupton's Hill...
The feeling was like...
The ascending view from a ski lift...
Except you were churning
your legs to get up... :)))
I'm sort of an animal
so... I... Powered my way up...
It was an intense run...
All these stations
of constant movement...
Really took a lot of will power...
That's something I also like
about running...
It helps you to push the boundries
& strengthen your power of will... To manifest

I just got back from my second run...
Ran through a different part of the
cemetery...
So beautiful & peaceful A...
I will probably take tomorrow off
& feast on pizza... :)))
I think I maybe will do 4 days a week?
I don't know...
Throw in some other stuff...
I'm going to try yoga...
Kind of excited about that...
You have excellent fashion sense... :)))
