The Light
As you walk into the darkness of the lonliest tunnel you will not see the light ,
It's the coldest of winds and the deep chill of regret is gently blowing ,making the hair on your neck stand up and you still cannot see the light ,
you will walk for days bumping into the cold damp slate walls at every turn , you will trip up on lose gravel and abandoned rails , you might lose your appitite and not eat for days and still you cannot see the light ,
You have a decision to make , you can keep walking or you can stop , stopping means that you will never again see the light ,
you can remember the blue sky's, the green leaves on the trees , the way the sun warms your face as you walk through fields with loved ones ,
Keep walking and I promis you
You will again see the light ....
